Shadowroot Garden began several years ago with a dream: grow a little goth garden and fill it with the dark, the weird, the different, and the odd. Turns out, it’s not a phase. Nestled near the Wisconsin-Illinois border, our small-scale operation embraces the goth side of vegetables. Black tomatoes, purple peppers, and striped beans are only the beginning. We offer darkly delicious garden produce and canned goods for those who often catch themselves asking, “But, does it come in black?”

We avoid the use of chemicals, pesticides, and generally anything we can’t easily pronounce. Recipes are lab-tested and approved.
