Take a scenic drive along the Great River Road to visit Orchard Landing and Galena Cider Company. Our family planted the first trees in 2015 and now grow 15 varieties of apples that we harvest from August thru October. We sell honey, jams & jellies, fresh pressed cider, and Nathan’s famous Apple Cider Donuts in our retail store. In 2022, we began crafting our 3 flavors of gluten free hard cider.

We practice Integrated Pest Management principles to manage our apple crop. IPM is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. It uses current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. With IPM we can manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.

Our ‘seconds’ are pressed into cider and any damaged apples feed local goats!
