About Us
Green Pearl Farm makes organic raw sauerkraut, filled with gut friendly pre and probiotics. It has just the right balance of salt, tang, and crunch.
We use a traditional fermentation method of submerging the raw cabbage with sea salt in a crock that sits at room temperature until fermentation is complete. We then cold pack and refrigerate it, which gives our kraut its signature crunch!

Practices
We are a micro homestead making the most of our one acre of fertile soil and abundant sunshine. We are guided by regenerative principles in our attempts to increase the biodiversity of our soil as well as encourage native plant life. We strive to produce as little waste as possible by reusing and composting. We are slowly building towards a functional ecosystem filled with heirloom breeds of vegetables, fruit trees, poultry, and small livestock.
We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides on anything we grow. We do use pest sprays made from essential oils. We do use fertilizer made from composted bedding from our chicken and duck coops. We use heavy mulching on our crops to conserve water and deter weeds. We try to maintain living roots in the soil through a rotation of cover crops.
